It's a flag-fest in Pittsburgh. Apparently the officials don't have a plane to catch!

We are this close to seeing T-Jack today and officially ending the Favre-Childress relationship.

oh and i'm sure the TV crew mentioned this before but Williams jersey is misspelled Willaims.

Now Im admittedly biased (lifelong Steelers fan) but they seem to be getting screwed penalty wise ever since that Browns game fiasco. Several Steelers players have gone down with concussions (and I know a few have been the result of questionable hits) and I am unaware of any fines that have come since then but it seems that if one of their D-men so much as looks at an opposing player funny they get flagged and/or fined. Again...I am VERY biased...but at least I admit it.

Wow. If the Texans had gone for it on 4th down, and made it, the game would be over right now.

Don't give the ball back to Sanchez.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Wow. We might see a double firing tonight/tomorrow. Chilly and Kubiak. Though the Texans loss is probably more on the defensive coordinator.

Hello Peyton. Welcome back to Foxboro. You remember how to throws picks, right?

Yep...you do...

Edit: Surprised Bill Polian hasn't banned cold weather yet. Or games in New England. I'm sure he's working on it.

Was there any doubt, seriously, that Houston would allow the jets to score and win?!? ;)

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Football sucks. Fantasy football sucks.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Philly's receivers haven't been able to hang on to the ball tonight. Avant dropped an easy 6 in the back of the end zone.

So now Asante hangs on to the Eli INT.:mad::mad:

Al Michaels is just the latest example, but why has pretty much the entire sports media decided to paper over Eli's refusal to play in San Diego? Michaels said, "Eli Manning was drafted No. 1 by San Diego and then wound up going to the Giants in a trade that day." That's accurate but certainly far from a full, honest description of what transpired.

Eli Manning told the Chargers he wouldn't play for them, so they decided to instead draft and trade him. Why not just say that?

Thank you ARodg, Fred Jackson, CedBen, and Nick Folk. Up 52-30 in my main league, and should get high score of the week (bonus $25).
I'll for sure stay in 2nd place, and could take over 1st, with 3 weeks left.

I've wondered the same thing. For that matter, I've wondered why he didn't want to play in San Diego, go suit up with LaDainian Tomlinson and enjoy nice weather year-round.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

I have no idea how the Giants are even in this game.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

This season keeps getting stranger. This one game is as bizarre as any game you'll see.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Eli is a bigger moron than Asante. Why not slide? You already have the first down.

Re: NFL 2010: Now Extended By Two More Posts

Hmm, learned something new I guess. I thought the "ground can't cause a fumble" would apply in this situation.
