I highly doubt that Buffalo was the only team to put in a claim on Merriman...they were just the first by priority

True, but we could've let some other team take the $4 million hit. I'm sure Ralph really appreciated Nix blowing that $$ on nothing considering how cheap he is.

Not sure if any of you saw this, but here is the segment on Chris Henry that was aired on Thanksgiving Day on The NFL Today. It brought me to tears and I thought it was because I'm female. Then they cut back to the studio, and James Brown was so overcome, he couldn't talk and Boomer had to take over. It's very emotional.

Thank goodness my CBS station was smart and showed JAX vs. Giants instead of the glorified home game the Steelers are playing in Buffalo.
