NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

I'd question Philly being among the best teams. Are they ahead of New Orleans?
I mean, they've beaten the Lions and the Jags.

NO wins aren't all that great either this early in the season. So it seems like a wash. Philly blew that game vs Was just like NO blew the Atl game.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Why would I be kidding? It has nothing to do with the Packers as I always 'liked' Favre, but Rogers makes me want to punch him in the face.

Every time I see Rogers, I think of Droopy the Dog.

Technically shouldn't the refs have allowed the last play to continue because a defensive penalty could still occur...

I think the only reason they stopped it was because the ball hit the ground, and on a forward pass- whether legal or illegal- that means dead ball.

Philly's loss came at home to GB.

I see what you're saying, but as the Super Bowl champs, I think NO deserves at least a little benefit of the doubt.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Why should I like someone just because they are talented? It has nothing to do with the obvious talent and everything to do with he comes across as a big-headed punk with a soul patch mama shaves for him. As for having game let me know the next time he wins one that matters.

re: the NFC - the Vikings still have one of the best defenses, by far the best RB in the conference and if they can get their passing game in order will still be a team to beat when it comes down to the end.

Ok, then fine. One qb carries drama wherever he goes, tanks plays for the benefit of other players. The other doesn't act like he's the greatest sh* to hit the NFL, works hard, is patient, and knows his role (even though inside you know that has to tee him off).

Just sayin'.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

I don't think you can say any teams in the NFC are among the best in the NFC yet. Inconsistency is the theme so far this year...

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Awesome. Hugh Millen said the Bears are a good football team.

Theory proven. :D

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

I had to take a break from talking about the Stout hockey crime issue. 18 penalties by one team and an overall abortion of a football game. Now THAT'S a crime!

That never happened until the end, he's never missed a game, has actually won games that matter and has never taken himself overly seriously despite actually winning games that matter. We may need to agree to disagree. :)

Why don't you get back to me after Rodgers has a few more seasons under his belt. Favre didn't win a game that mattered (whatever that means) until his 4th year...

Could be. I'm just trying to figure out the hatred for ARodg. I really don't get where it's coming from. You say you don't base it on talent, but bring up "won games that matter..." etc. Being honest here, not trying to be a dick. :o

If by "the end" you mean before it really counts in an NFC Championship game you might be right. Can ARodg get it done there? Yet to be determined. I just know what the Vikings have there won't get it done at this stage in his career...unless they try TJack.

The Vikes still have a shot. BrettFavre has to stop trying to be BrettFavre (forcing the ball, which he rarely did last year) and start being BrettFavre (calm, cool, collected, which he was last year).

Yeah it was against the Lions, but Berrian looked somewhat competent, Cheech (Percy) was a stud, so was AP. Gotta hope Thundercock (Shiancoe) stays healthy.

Re: NFL 2010 - Cap & Trade

Of course they do. I just enjoy taking any shot I can at a guy who I just don't want to hear about anymore. I haven't said or typed his name in well over a year. I refuse to fuel the attention addiction by confirming who I am talking about.

You don't know what will or won't happen anymore than I do, but it clearly looks like everything but Favre and the WRs being in sync is the only negative right now. Whether or not that will get solved remains to be seen.

Truth.
