Notsomuch.
So not only no cap in 2010, but no minimum spending requirements for those 8-12 teams? What a mess.ESPN
The NFL is going to cancel revenue sharing. If they do this, football becomes like baseball. The next step is to eliminate the cap altogether. Does anyone want to know how much money Dan Snyder and Jerry Jones are going to throw at players? Does anyone think franchises in Jacksonville, Nashville, Kansas City etc are going to survive?
Let's kill the golden goose.
Although, if overpaying for talent won super bowls, the Redskins would have won about 6 in a row by now.
I scored the most points in my league and finished with a 6-7 record and needed a prayer last night to make the playoffs. The prayer was answered as Greg Jennings didn't score more than 15 points and my season was saved sneaking in the back door of the playoffs as the #6 seed.
Now I get to the face the guy with both Welker and Moss again in the first round of the playoffs....OH JOY!
One year I lost 9 weeks in a row, and missed the playoffs. Ended the season with the 2nd most amount of points in the league. In each of those 9 loses, one was more then 5 points, several were less then a point.Bad luck like this happens all the time in FF.
In one league I'm first in scoring and finished the regular season 7-6. I did make the playoffs as the 4th seed.
In another league I'm currently in 5th place and in order to make the 4 team playoffs I need to catch a team that is 2 games ahead of me with 2 games left. I currently have a hundred points more then the team ahead of me so being 2 games back is definitely bad luck.
It happens.
I need to start 3 of these 4: Adrian P., Ricky W., Marion B., and Cedrick B.
Right now I'm leaning toward sitting Cedrick but am curious what others think.
Cinci and Minnesota are the #2 and #3 running D respectively. Benson has went over 100 in three games against the #4 and #6 rushing D's (green bay and baltimore). AP went over 100 against Baltimore but not in two games against GB. Cinci D has only given up 1 100 yard rusher this season (Jerome Harrison) and have stuffed Mendenhall/Ray Rice/Ryan Grant, Vikings D hasn't given up any.
Tough call with either of those two players obviously. Long time Who Dey fan here, and the Bengals are adimant about running the ball and not giving up on it this season, you can tell as our scoring proficiency has gone down, I might actually start Ced given that situation.
