That's an INT and then a fumble. Give glory to the TV timeout, which will certainly make sure this is overturned.

At worse, this will be an incomplete.

Sounds like the bears recovered it anyway.
I would love to see Cutler get just lit up :D by a linebacker.

I love how going to commercial is more important than showing us the Bears ended up recovering. :)

Congratulations on beating the "Gaints".

Clearly the woman to his left disapproves of his lack of correct spelling. :D

The Raiders should sign that pigeon. It showed more heart than any of their players have all year.

Random fact to chew on for the week:

During a discussion about how worthless the QB rating is, a buddy and I found that Elvis Grbac is rated higher than Johnny U.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That's probably because Unitas' numbers really aren't very impressive. Namath's might be even worse.

It's a completely different game now, of course, so something like QB rating doesn't translate well over generations, but by today's standards all those guys can be considered anything but efficient passers.

From what I've deduced, it's the West Coast Offense factor.

You can toss 20 5-yard passes (easy targets, high completion/low risk) for 100 yards and a 70% completion percentage and a TD, and compare it to going 10-20 for 150 with 3 TD's and I think the QB rating would be close. I haven't done the math, but that's what I'm going with.

My point is, there are great qbs that stats don't support. At all. :)

QB rating is a crappy stat. It's baffling how people like it and use it and don't even understand OPS for baseball, or that AVG is somehow a better explanation of offensive prowess.

QB rating is flawed and confusing: and worthless.

Yeah but then I have to consider a number of opposing factors when making my decisions. It's much easier to just have one number, even more preferrable if that number is served in a bread bowl.

Hell, since it's that amusing to me, I'll save you all the time and link it:

Holy *. Just noticed that Joey Harrington is rated higher than Joe Namath.
According to the list, the best Vikings QB's in order...

1) Daunte Culpepper
2) BrettFavre
3) Rich Gannon
4) Brad Johnson
5) Randall Cunningham
6) Warren Moon
7) Jeff George
8) Fran Tarkenton
9) Jay Fiedler
10) Wade Wilson
11) Gus Frerotte
12) Tommy Kramer
13) Bubby Brister

...hilarious :D

True, but if you look at Namath he's got something like 170td's and 220 picks...and a career losing record. Sometimes makes you wonder how much romanticism plays into things at times.
