Did BrettFavre do something almost two hours after the game ended to upset you somehow?

I'm going with fantasy, which is a nice segue for me to vent,

I managed to take out both Matt Ryan and Michael Turner and put in the 49er defense this week. That was awesome.

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

For those of you adjusting for mondo refereeing screwups, the final score of the Giants/Raiders game today was New York 51, Oakland 0.

that is a stupid rule.. the whistles didnt even blow in the giants game until after they recovered. if anything, the refs basically send we 'intended to call forward progress'. thats up there with the lowell screwjob!

remember the giants/cowboys game when phillips intercepted the ball and didnt get credited with a runback TD because the refs thought the ball hit the ground. dumb.

That garbage td that Ryan ran in cost me my game.

The Colts and Titans are apparently playing "Who Wants The Ball" aka "Hot Potato" tonight.

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

The roughing the passer calls this year have been ***** ridiculous. Thank you Tom "wears a skirt" Brady for causing the rule change. And thank you, NFL Competition Committee, for turning the NFL into a two-hand touch football league, at least as it applies to QB's.

They really need to revert this rule back.

Edit: Oh, and completely unrelated, but this stat is awesome, especially to this Denver fan.
Tom Brady is now 1-5 as a starter against the Broncos for his career. Denver is the only team he does not have a winning record against.

Current uniforms are the new throwbacks. :)

With few exceptions (and most of those are due to small details, like Denver's socks today) I love the throwbacks. I might have to look into buying a couple (a long term goal of mine is to own a jersey of every NFL team).

Stop throwing to Dallas Clark. You're up 19 points just run the ball you jerkface Colts.

Also Dallas Clark I would appreciate if you fumbled a few times as well. Somehow recover a fumble, and then fumble it yourself.

I don't want you getting any reception points. :)

what is the spread in this game? why would the titans punt right there?

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

Provided the Jets defense and Thomas Jones (well, at least as much as Williams and Ginn) don't go off ...I could be in first place in my FFL after tomorrow night at 3-2.

Lucky. I'm 3-2.

My division (after this week):

4-1
3-2
3-2
2-3
2-3
1-4

I need 4.5 points out of Ronnie Brown tomorrow to tie, 5 points to win.

Come on, opening drive just score a TD Ronnie.

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

Last place team will be 1-4. 2nd to last 2-3. I'm currently in 4th. I'm pretty sure the reason is the that we're starting 37 offensive players.

lol. Our division is notorius for being a cluster*. One year, the last place team was 7-7. First place? 9-5. A 8-6 team missed the playoffs on a tiebreaker (top two go to the playoffs).

I need to pray for 37 points from Jericho Cotchery....i'm not holdin my breath

The Denver throwbacks remind me of:

And if only I could find an image they also remind me of the original uniforms the workers use to wear at Valley Fair.

I need 12 points out of the Jets D after Garcon failed me utterly.

I won FF again this week to move to 5-0, pretty good for my first time.:p

I did get lucky this week, playing the guy that has Brees on the week when Brees is on a bye. Jason Campbell was his backup....
