Ryan Leaf was even worse. The Chargers mortgaged their future trading up to get him and by all accounts Russell is a good guy. Ryan Leaf is everything Russell is, but didn't have being fat as an excuse for being bad and he was a total ***** ostrich.

You know, we didn't even mention Todd Marinovich, although I don't think he had enough playing time to qualify. ;)

But yeah, Russell is the new definition of suck, and Leaf was his mentor.

Leaf is like the Godfather of Suck. JeMarcus Russell is not even close...he's maybe a small time lieutenant...in charge of the laundromats.

Someone shoot Collinsworth. With 8 minutes left in the game, he starts a sentence with:

"It's JUST a 21 point game..."

Haha! What a dumb old man. 28 yard sack loss.

His wife is gonna kick his arse.

And please, don't let the "other" Steve Smith score tomorrow, or get 100 yards. Up by one.

Collinsworth and Michaels taking shots at each other. So this is what a verbal cripple fight sounds like.

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

Wouldn't that require Delhomme to throw to his own team? :D

That's what I think, but you never know.

And pee on this over 48.5 bet I had. I was 2-0 before this game:

Det +225

Chi -3

Parlay:
MN/SF over 39
IND/ARI over 48.5

They're bad...So is almost every announcer on Fox. The only ones that are ok are Stockton and Albert.

I like Michaels. Always have. I think his co-announcer usually brings him down though. It makes me mad.

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

I thought he was fine with Madden...

It pains me to say this, but I think he was brought down in THAT situation. Summerall knew how to work with Madden, due to experience, and it was awesome. I'm not saying Michaels sucked or anything, but it's like trying to replace a legendary combo. Can't do it. You can only come close, which is what Michaels did.

I also think Michaels was good with Ken Dryden...:D
