Someone shoot Collinsworth. With 8 minutes left in the game, he starts a sentence with:

"It's JUST a 21 point game..."

I heard that and laugh. It's sort of his job to try and keep as many TVs on the game as possible. I assumed he said it half in jest, a sort of dry, Brit sort of humor.

I really hope that's the case.

BrettFavre did it again. He made it all happen. What a great throw to himself to win the game for the Vikes. That BrettFavre is amazing.

How great would it have been if he didn't make that catch. All the announcers would have blamed the receivers.

It wasn't.

Dear Stevonne Smith,

Please don't score or get 100 yards receiving tonight. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Brenthoven

Johnathan Stewert needs to get a couple TD's and run all over the Dallas defense. And Barber needs to not play.

But, Dallas needs to win.

I don't think that's asking too much...:D

Re: NFL 2009 (or, in Super Bowl nomenclature, MMIX)

that was a gutless play by crayton to just run out of bounds with only the punter 'bearing' down on him like that

38. I bitterly regret agreeing to use bench points as a tiebreaker, since my entire bench was inactive over the weekend.

In regular season we just have ties. Bench points in the post-season, though.

And yay for 38. He just can't get 100. Or any kind of score.

Watching this game reminds me that trading Roy Williams for a 1st/3rd/6th was easily the best trade the Lions have made in my memory.

When mcnabb gets back the eagles will be able to trade garcia to one of 5 teams that will sacrifice big time to get a guy who can actually play QB
