If I want to listen to whiny, entitled, spoiled children angst over whiskey to a self-important lo fi soundtrack, I'll just hit the fern bars in Adams Morgan. This movie made "My Dinner with Andre" look like Michael Bay, and "Battlefield Earth" look like understated character development.
I agree with this completely. Reading the first book, my impression of Lisbeth was pretty much exactly what Brent has been saying about the American version. I'm guessing some of what Larsson was trying to make Lisbeth out to be didn't get translated to the screen very well, so Brent didn't even know about it, where those of us who have read the books had that prior impression of what Lisbeth was supposed to be like in the book.
