Finally got around to Taken. It's ok if you can believe a geriatric can hammerpunch several assailants while dodging machine guns at close range.
I had other problems with it, but it was entertaining for sure and I put 2 at the top of my Netflix queue for whenever it comes out.

Loved it. It was all I hoped it would be and more. Fun popcorn flick with a decent amount of heart.
The negative reviews that I read on Amazon seem mostly in comparing it to the book. I didn't read the book.

In the Land of Blood and Honey. Absolutely gripping movie that smartly mixes in a story about people that knew (and even loved) people from the 'other side' while portraying how devastating the war was. Hard to believe these types of events are still happening even in 'modern times'.
