I think we need a separate thread for the TDK because I am pretty sure something will slip and I have no plans to see the movie for at least a few weeks until after it opens.
That would be a pretty good thought. I would love to see it opening night, but I think its mostly sold out, and I really don't have anybody that could go to a midnight showing like I used to. my usual partner in crime for that works mornings now, along with about everybody else I know. Maybe going later that opening weekend perhaps, that would be more ideal for me I think.I think we need a separate thread for the TDK because I am pretty sure something will slip and I have no plans to see the movie for at least a few weeks until after it opens.

Depends on the movie. If it's a drama, yes. But if it's a comedy or an action film then the theater crowd makes it much better. And I love nothing more than a dead theater. Less chance of cell phones, crying kids, d-bags, etc.

I plan on going to an 8:45am showing next Saturday. I've never been to a movie theater that early.
I remember seeing Star Trek at the theatre on a Saturday morning when I was about five or six. I was so confused when we left and it was still light out. Of course, it was probably either the 2nd or 3rd movie I ever saw in a theater. (I know Star Wars was the first because I have been told about it, but I was 3 so I don't remember)I saw Avengers at like 930 AM on a Monday. It was very empty, that was probably more due to that it had been out for a few weeks, but I bet the early shows still have a better chance of being less full. Also at our theater the shows that early are like half the price.
Honestly, given how stiff the boots of hockey skates have become in the past 7 years, give or take, his bone would have to have been breaking a good inch or so above the joint. Add to that, you'd have to skate and crash really hard before a break that sever could even occur, and he just wasn't capable of doing that. (I know, it's a movie and I'm usually pretty good at the suspension of disbelief, but that part got me.)Saw Goon. Really enjoyed it other than the ankle scene. Was a good date-night movie.
