When was the last time Maine was in the NCAA's giving them even a hope of winning the NC? As goblue already posted, and as I've been saying, I've had the hope you haven't had a sniff.

I was going to do a search and find all the Fire Timmay threads and all the posts from Maine fans endlessly moaning and complaining about their team the past 3 years, but I don't have that much time in this life to post all of those links.

Every year UNH has a quality team and every year they have an opportunity. Same can't be said of Maine, and your own threads are proof of that.

Says it all right there. Its UNH that hasnt had a sniff.....getting destroyed year in and year out in the NCAA's isnt getting a sniff fellas.

At least we dont cave in when were in there. :D

edit...though I guess we did semi-cave against BU in 95 following the marathon war with Michigan.....us Mainuhs give those boyz a pass for that. :D

Gag...Cough...CHOKE.. It's OVAH. Great gritty never quit win for the 'Cats. Nice to know they can play 1 period against the #8 team in the nation and win. Hopefully they don't try to get away with too many of these efforts this year.

Nice comeback win for UHN. Pretty good game. Hasta hurt for the Maine playerz but its still early....good learning experience.

the man advantage was the story of the game.. UNH gets the early ppg from thompson and then the EAG goal by speelman, while maine was 0 for 2 on their powerplays that both came late in the third with a chance to ice the game.. now 0 for the last 30 something? terrible.

And that after they were #1 in the nation last yr on the PP, right? Odd, if nothing else.
