They should have thrown in the two saves on Cam Atkinson in the 1st for good measure. I thought that could have been a 4-3 or 4-4 game after one, except for Howe standing on his head. Fabulous game by him and the entire CC team.CC made sportscenters top 10 plays this morning at #9 with Joe Howe's toe save on Whitney!!![]()
Ugh... I forgot how awful the BC band is.
Looks like the refs have gotten the message that BC was supposed to win this one.

Thank you CC!
While this doesn't come close to making up for us losing last year, it sure makes me feel great tonight.
Great job and good luck tomorrow!
P.S. Eat it BC!!
Never even left the time zone. Absurd.
I looked it up. It took about 10 minutes to review, but the evidence is conclusive. Ann Arbor is in the Detroit Combined Statistical Area (CSA), but not in the Detroit Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). Since Red Cows was talking about Metropolitan Areas, I did not include it. Ann Arbor, is the center its own MSA, which consists of Washtenaw County and is the #145 largest MSA in the US. The Detroit MSA is Lapeer, Livingston, Macomb, Oakland, St Clair and Wayne Counties. Detroit lost its only Division I hockey team when Wayne State (MI) folded.
Oops...got my Alabama schools mixed up. I corrected the list.
who is announcing this region? the guy is almost as entertaining to listen to as these games are to watch. kinda refreshing after listening to melrose's eastern bias.
I'm not arguing but I'm curious how Livingston County can be considered part of the Detroit MSA when Livingston County is close to an hour from Detroit while Ann Arbor is maybe 25 minutes from Detroit?
There is certainly a possibility of 3 WCHA teams in the Frozen Four.
OK, then explain Lapeer Cty. There is nothing in Lapeer but Beet Farms. Those people aren't commuting to the D.It probably has to do with work patterns. Ann Arbor is self contained. Most people who live there, work there. Although not true 20 years ago, eastern Livingston County has now become Suburban Detroit. Check out the daily traffic jam on eastbound I-96 west of I-275 in the mornings and you'll all those people from western Oakland/eastern Livingston commuting in.

I guess I'm rooting for Denver on sunday. They looked beatable vs WMU. Otherwise, I don't see anyone left to knock UND out.
Michigan "could", emphasis on "could". Will they? I don't know but that's why they play the games.
Boy, all of the Minnesota fans will be stuck in paradox if that happens. Who do they root for?
