NCAA Hockey - 2023/24 **Insert Witty Tagline**

OSU takes game 1 from Wisconsin.
Home teams won the other two with Michigan and Minnesota getting wins. Mariucci looked near empty on tv.

Been that way as long as I can remember

On a different note, I just about peed myself laughing after popping to the D1 side. Wisconsin fans saying that other teams are finding a way to slow them down by clogging up lanes and clutching/grabbing. If that’s not the most delicious irony about a Mike Hastings team lol

LMAO EAT SHlT WISCONSIN

Tech finishes off a CCHA first round home sweep of Bowling Green with a 6-5 barnburner. Depending on the results of tomorrow's Game 3 between the Lakers and the Tommies, the Huskies could be hosting Mankato in Houghton, or traveling to Mendota Heights next weekend. Such a weird and particularly mediocre year for the whole nW/CCHA, I would say maybe even the worst overall since realignment.

That is incredibly delicious.

F* Hockey.

Easily the most disappointing year of my fandom >=( There isn't a single bright spot for NMU I can pick out at the moment.

Which is hilarious because there are two years much worse that happened in the last seven years, including the worst season under Potulny in 20-21, which was masked by them backdooring their way into pretending the season was okay by losing in the title game that season.

Didn't deserve to win last night but we did. Possibly righting a bit of the karmic balance we're due for getting fucked by every possible way on video reviews this year.

I haven’t been following closely enough to know all the factors in NMU’s struggles. Is it Potulny? Hard to believe he’d carry none of the responsibility given the position he has.

I think a lot of Gopher fans thought he’d go out there and get the necessary experience, then come back to Minneapolis for the big job when Bob calls it quits. I don’t think many have this train of thought any longer, even though he’ll always have a special place in everyone’s heart down here.
