NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Apparently this has been in the works for awhile now.

Inside 'The Decision': Miami's coup was a 'surprise' built on long-coveted goal of James, Wade and Bosh

And this is my depiction of them while conjuring up the plan:

I honestly think that LeBron will be called a hanger on. When everyone thinks of the Heat, they think of Dwayne Wade. I think LeBron is gravy training and if/when they win a title, the King will want to do what Kobe did and win it himself.

And if this wasnt bizarre enough...

Jesse Jackson makes his voice heard

“He speaks as an owner of LeBron and not the owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers,” the reverend said in a release from his Chicago-based civil rights group, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition. “His feelings of betrayal personify a slave master mentality. He sees LeBron as a runaway slave. This is an owner employee relationship—between business partners—and LeBron honored his contract.”

I didn't know slaves were paid $16 million a year.

Everyone gets paid during the LeBronanza!

Our kids will be asking us why this generations Scottie Pippen got his own show.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Many hoops fans in Rochester were not LeBron fans when Cleveland came to play an exhibition game here and LeBron decided not to play. Not only that - he teased coming in to the game by getting up and looking to go to the scorer's table.

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Stern cares more about Gilbert's letter than he does about tampering. :D

Well, yeah.

1. Due to the Miami signings, millions of dollars weren't spent on bigger contracts, so the league saves money.

2. This fine makes the league money. I hear they are not doing too well right now financially. ;)

Re: NBA 2009-2010: More ref complaints

Sadly he probably wouldn't have fined him at all if Jesse Jackson hadn't said something about it. He certainly doesn't want the negative attention on his league.

Seriously? The same guy that packed up a franchise to move them to Oklahoma City because they didn't cave into his demands for a new arena is worried about BAD publicity? He doesn't give a sh-t because people keep swallowing all the hype they crank out. He's just making it look like he cares.

That's an insult to Scottie Pippen.

Edit: the MN-Miami trade is final; MN gives up two second round picks for Beasley. Good lord, that is highway robbery.
