Movies: Poor Things, Barbie and Oppenheimer are stuck in La La Land

I haven't gotten to it yet. I just assumed since it was Oscar bait, they wouldn't back down from the antagonist's lifestyle choices.
The ironic part is, I still think Demi deserved the Oscar for the Substance

And Mikey Madison won playing a stripper, which Demi was famous for a similar role earlier in her career

WARNER BROTHERS HAS CAVED!!!

They have sold the worldwide rights to Coyote vs. ACME to Ketchup Entertainment for a rumored $50 Mil, which was estimated to be 10 to 20 Mil more than they would get by writing the film off as a tax loss.

Ketchup Entertainment last year acquired the rights to another Loony Tunes product: The Day The Earth Blew Up. Despite of the lack of promotion, it's not far from recouping the production costs from theaters sales (and will likely do VERY well on home sales / digital purchases).

Ok, this has a chance to be a successful remake.

I'd say technically a sequel, or reboot vs remake.

I remember seeing that it was on a release calendar and assumed it was a remake and my first thought was "hard pass". But that teaser actually looks promising.

I also see there is a Spinal Tap sequel coming this year. It has been YEARS since I saw the original (really need to see it again). There was been one teaser released so far (that shows really nothing at all) so its all hype/nostalgia that has me wanting to see it at this point.

I had no idea that was coming out. I came across the teaser via a couple of movie pages I follow. Decided to click out of curiosity...

That was some of the dumbest shit I've seen in a long time....

And I'll take two servings please along with extra popcorn!

I'm sold on this being a "guys night" with some pregame burgers & brews...

It’s fascinating seeing Disney promoting the 30th anniversary of A Goofy Movie considering they spent 20 years pretending that it didn’t exist.

(A Goofy Movie is great movie so it does deserve it)
