"It will happen this way,"
I agree; a perfect movie.

Karate Kid (1984)
A lot of cultural references just clicked.
Not sure if serious...
ABC will be showing Black Panther commercial free in prime time tonight
Saw that! I was debating about watching that or watching Get On Up. I’ve seen Black Panther and 42 and Marshall (which was excellent btw) so figured I’d watch the one I didn’t see.
So I watched Tread on Netflix last night. Pretty entertaining movie, even though the events are well known.
It's a documentary about the guy living in a small Colorado town who concluded the City power structure was out to get him, so he bought a bulldozer and modified it into a Killdozer, then went on a rampage throughout town. The filmmakers were able to get interviews with many of the participants. That, coupled with actual news footage of the event, made it a pretty captivating watch.
Mookie went and watched karate kid for the first time.
I went to the theater and saw Tenet and I have 2 comments:
1) If you want to see it see it in the theater. It wont be as good on TV I dont think...
2) It is not a great film. It is 3/4 of a great film with 1/4 of it just being boring and or stupid. This is almost like someone trying to ape a Nolan film using all of his normal tropes and then taking it a step too far. It is very disjointed which I think is on purpose (temporal stories tend to be all over the place) but it just makes the film hard to follow and makes the ending rather unsatisfying. Since I dont have to pay for it I might try seeing it again knowing how it all plays out and see if it works better but as of now it is probably my least favorite film by him.
(yes Kepler we all know)
