Never realized The Maltese Falcon was originally made in 1931 and the one with Bogart was a remake in '41. Got the VCR fired up; TCM is running the original at 12:45am.

Thx for the heads up.The original is a very different movie played for laughs. Just be warned. It's not horrible, it's just different.
I totally read that as "make her a trans-am" and I thought, they did, it was called Cars.TBH, that would be tiresome. Much like movies about WHITES AND BLACKS JUST GETTING ALONG TOGETHER!!! in the 70s and 80s, there comes a point where being LGBTQ is checking another corporate #WeRaceAsOne box.
Now, make the little b-tch trans and I AM all on board. That actually puts some stakes into it, and risks their profit margin. And even better, it's trading female for male personal identity, which will make the Left freak out too since it subverts our hierarchy.
Don't give me interracial buddies. Give me a sexually-active interracial couple. In 1955.
Jumanji is a cool movie. I watched two parts and I can say they are both good 8/10
You were just touching your GPU thinking about all of the big burly CGI computers.
Criterion collection 80s horror!
love that The Vanishing appears on this list. Truly a scary movie and one of my favorites. The original Dutch version, not the horse bleep American remake

The original was tremendous. If you have not yet seen the original version of Funny Games I highly recommend.

slappy,
mookie caught this on a plane recently, entertaining.
was very surprised at the city skyline which leads one to believe it’s Manila. Is that so? Dam impressive.

Yah those would not have made the trailer. From the trailer it's clear it was filmed in The Philippines including Manila although there weren't any shots of any of it with a major skyline.
This caught my eye last past weekend. Don't have Apple TV so a coupla hours in the theater Fri night sounds like a plan.
