A View To A Kill is the GOAT of Bond Themes.

Barbara Bach was in Moore's The Spy Who Loved Me.

Maryam d'Abo was The Living Daylights Bond girl - the cellist with the Russian defector boyfriend.

Crap. Easy grounder booted. I feel shame. To be fair, they're the same girl -- BB is just twice as pretty.

Diamonds are Forever is great! And Jill St. John is the GOAT Bond girl, end of conversation.

As for the terrible Craig Bonds, it's a matter of taste. I loathe what they did to the character, and even more what they did with M as in Mommy. I predict that will age even worse than Sensitive Bond.

Ever period has its cringe aspects which are invisible to the people of that period. The best that can be said for Craig Bond was he never went through America's fascist chic period post 9/11. But given how amazing the first half of Casino Royale is, the rest of his run as Bond is an enormous let down. Hopefully Black Bond or whoever will wipe away the memory.

I like Craig as Bond and his movies (Quantum of Solace being the outlier). \_(ツ)_/

That's cause Quantum of Solace wasn't a Bond movie. It was a Bourne movie with 007 as the lead.

Also, it would've been markedly improved if they had ended Casino Royale with him and Vesper on the boat, and had the entire Venice scene as the pre-credits lead-in for Quantum.

It would've been markedly improved if Vesper never existed.

I didn't have a problem with Craig's Bond performances. Somewhere there used to be a meme chart of the Bond characteristics/vices (womanizing, boozing, etc.) and how each take on Bond stacked up and emphasized different parts of the character. So depending on how you think Bond should behave, that plays into your impression of each actor's interpretation.

Oooohhh. I have a friend who also despises Quantum of Suck as much as you all do. And thinking about it, yes, the Venice scene would fit much, much better at the beginning of QoS.

Watched the Northman because it’s now free on peacock.

funny that Askars was kidmans husband in Big Little Lies on HBO and her son in this movie

was not great though.

Watched the new Jurassic movie. It was pretty terrible.

Yeah, I saw it at an OmniMax theater. It was tough to follow that way. And it was kind of stupid. And too much. I feel like I needed to see Jurassic World 2 to get some of the story. And it bothered me a little too much how the pants Laura Dern wore were not dirty or ripped given all she went through.
