The Karate Kid
Caught it last night on AMC. The good version, not the Will Smith one. I still can't get over how rushed the ending is. It's like they had a time limit and spent way too much time on plot development, before realizing there was only ten minutes left and they had to write in the tournament still.
Also, how come the punch to Daniel's head didn't count for a point, but Daniel's falcon kick right in the face did? Or why do they let him continue through a doctor's diagnosis on what is most likely a torn ACL? And why is Johnny even allowed to compete when he clearly should have been disqualified for unsportsmanlike behavior and obvious anger issues earlier in the tournament?
