MN @ WI: Cheese And Paint Thinner And Dead Deer, Oh My!

Re: MN @ WI: Cheese And Paint Thinner And Dead Deer, Oh My!

You mean the same guy that called me "dumb Fu$* Chuck" for absolutely no reason besides that I predicted a Wisconsin win last night? Yeah..he doesn't sound like an idot a-hole at all.

He does to me. But I digress often.

Re: MN @ WI: Cheese And Paint Thinner And Dead Deer, Oh My!

For the same reason that fans of WCHA teams read other WCHA team series threads. For the same reason that sue fans decide to post in Gopher threads and vice a versa. The difference is that Bronzebacks isn't an idiot a-hole like sue and becky fans.

mensa candidate right here

this might be the only time I'd actually "stand in solidarity" with sioux posters... to rip the hell out of rodentsota

here's to a good game tonight. I'm certain as Andringa said the film session this morning sucked

Re: MN @ WI: Cheese And Paint Thinner And Dead Deer, Oh My!

How'd that turn out?

I guess just getting to a championship is good enough, eh?

Take your pick, you can either say it's a great thing, or you can call last years Wisconsin team a complete pile of ****. Are paint thinner sniffers and dead deer pokers proud of last years Wisconsin team, or not?

Re: MN @ WI: Cheese And Paint Thinner And Dead Deer, Oh My!

Proud yes, completely satisfied no. But then again we are too busy drinking paint thinner, humping dead deer and going to a world class higher education university that makes UMTC look like SCSU. If it weren't for Minnesota's lower gambling age it might as well be North Dakota.

Chuck's right. I was out of line. My apologies Chuck.

Way to step up, man. Kudos.

You? Not so much.

The difference is that I'm not bragging about our championship game appearance.

Well, I am, since you can't come close to equalizing it. now, hurry on over to Menard's, I am sure they have a special "Border Battle" 5 gallon barrel of paint thinner just for you.

Re: MN @ WI: Cheese And Paint Thinner And Dead Deer, Oh My!

Hence why MN > WI for hockey. We do care about our teams. :p

Then whats up with all the fans disguised as empty seats at Mariucci year after year? Flipping on a few games here and there there must have been no more than 7,500 fans a few times.

Still wearing that Campbell Conference Champions t-shirt are you?

I'm a life long Hawks fan, which I've said many times on here, so not only has my team not moved, they've exceeded your little "accomplishment."

Of course, I can only root for teams within my home state though right? That's what you're going to come back with, right?

So the Gopher fans who happen to live in Hudson can't root for the Gophers, right?

I haven't seen any empty seats. They LOVE their teams way too much to not show up...

Having been to every game, my estimates put it between 8,000-8,500 most nights.
The Denver games last week were much better attended.
The reasons for the significant dip in attendance have been well discussed. Season tickets have turned over drastically this season.

In all honesty, this is kind of a silver lining to me. Kind of like how there needs to be a brush fire in a forest every so often to maintain a healthy ecosystem.

I really enjoyed last week seeing a few (what seemed to be) very working class families of 4 in attendance. That just wouldn't have been possible a few years ago, and it was a shame.
