Classy. I'm sure your fan base is proud of RinkPig and yourself. You guys won a college hockey regular season game. Congrats. I'm guessing you'll beat us again at some point.

You gotta have towns with rinks and many large towns still don't and many just got them in the past few years.

I give your community based hockey lots of credit. I wish it was like that here. But it's not although it's getting better.

My kid is not a very talented player (too many genes from me;)), always a C-B bubble player. Last year he was on a peewee C team and they played in a Wisconsin B tourney. They routed the Sconnie B teams. And they were a middle-of-the-pack C team in MN. A few years back, the towns they played didn't even have teams.

Tonight's rivalry tilt will most likely have the same playoff intensity and plenty of elbow battles in front of the nets. The Gophers can ill afford another parade to the penalty box if they want to stay in this game at all. The PK bent a little last night, but it's also breakable. Once again, the seniors need to step up, keep pucks in deep and test Gudmanson's confidence. Jake Hansen, who has been strong around the net this season, will be back in the lineup after sitting out his one game suspension.

The Gardiner/Condon/Matson line was outstanding. Hopefully they'll have enough left in the tank to turn up their galactic speed to storm the net again tonight. Hopefully the Gophers will have their legs for another racehorse style contest. Go Gophers!!

At some point Minnesota has to make up ground or they won't get very far. Tonight's game is the last regular season game to do that.

How's WI's NHL team? Oh, wait. How about yours? Oh, wait. Sorry. Try again.

I expect a tight game tonight, obviously chippy. If one of the teams gets a 3-4 goal lead, though, I unfortunately expect to see some cheap shots and many scrums, probably worse than last night.

and yet, I have watched Stanley cup finals games played in Minnesota. something that can't be said of Wisconsin or Alaska.
