Just scored tickets to the tilt on Friday Night at Ucci! Anxious to see if the older corporate crowd is as quiet as I remember? I wish I could have a beer while watching my favorite hockey team. Oh well, hopefully will be able to see a Maverick win.

No... 'cause it would be weird to deal with non-arrogant Gopher fans.

And saw Ballad's thing... it was incredibly stupid, and I really hope the game starts to clean up this stupid, unsportsmanlike and as we just found out potentially dangerous act of smashing their sticks against the pipes.... all that being said the NHL should look into some fines and suspensions, but to say that he should be in jail is pretty off the wall. Nobody feels worse about that than he does, and I guarantee he'll never THINK about doing that again.

Really? So you're saying that based upon a series two years ago, there is a correlation between the "degradation" of the Gopher hockey program and the Mavericks competitiveness? Wow...you better look at that again. That's about as invalid as it gets.

I think the Mavs and Gophers each played hard in the last series, but the carryover as you mentioned might just be you getting overly hyped.

MN destroys the University of MN @ Mankato Technical State School For The Perpetually Sad Colleges so bad, Jutting loses that extra chromosome and looks like a real human being. In fact, he will COMPLIMENT the refs on the good job they have done. :eek:

I just hope there isn't a season ending injury this weekend. As ridiculous as this sounds, we can't afford to lose Schack. With Sean Lofbloom leaving for the NHL, we're obviously thin on 'D' as it is. Is it for sure Leddy is coming back for this series?
