Haha. I'm sure he will be laughing, being that you addressed him as Ms. :D
I can't believe you sent an email to the GM of the Ralph about this. That almost makes you as bad as those UND fans that emailed Red Baron about the NDSU F5 poster. :p :)

I think you're confusing us with either SCSU or UMN. Or both.

dirty is a metrosexual all the way.

Re: MN Golden Gophers @ UND Sioux: Arrogant vs Offensive!

I'm just trying to make Ralph Englestad Arena safer so UND fans don't kill each other before DU comes up there and kicks your azz like we did in the 1958, 1968 & 2005 National Championship games. :D

If you you truly want to keep DU safe at REA, your first order of business should be having all your LetsGoDU fanboys take up a collection to buy Gwoz a helmet. Wouldn't want him getting hurt during his next tour of the ice.

Gwoz grew up on the ice in Thunder Bay and used to walk 6 miles on the ice to and from school in pennyloafers.

If I'm Hak, I'm worried how Gwoz is going to outcoach him again, especially now that DU is loaded to the gills.

If I'm Hak, I'm worried how Gwoz is going to outcoach him once again. Especially now that DU is loaded to the gills.

If I had to take a guess, I'd say from the pressbox. Being loaded to the gills doesn't do you much good when the gills are filled with pansies. A broken finger? Rub some dirt on it, you wuss.

then when he gets throw out of the game he can talk into the helmet's built in microphone so he can cheat more effectively...

And they have the record to show it, as well.
How is that undefeated season coming along, BTW? ;) :)

The bone was sticking through the skin. Colborne, bit off the finger and kept playing while the finger lay on the ice. It was only after he found the finger and completed his shift that he sought medical attention from the trainer.

They taped the finger back on with hockey tape and took him to the hospital. Colborne made sure that every other patient was taken care of by the doctors before he allowed them to look at the finger.

Gwoz intentionally lost two games to keep the fanbase & players humble.

I disagree about 1979. UND won the WCHA championship in 1979 by beating Minnesota at Williams Arena in the final game of the season. In face Dave Christian scored the empty net goal at that game. I was there for those two last games. These teams were dead even all year and the only difference for the season was the final game where Broten scored the one on his belly to have Minnesota take the season series by one game. North Dakota and Minnesota were both dominant in 1979 and fittingly played for the national championship. So don't give me that Minnesota "deserved to win the national championship".

Both teams would have been stacked in 1980 until a number of Gopher players went to the US Olympic team and North Dakota lost two players (Dave Christian to the US and Kevin Maxwell to Canada). Because Minnesota lost more in 1980, UND had their way with the WCHA and won the national championship. Now if all players would have stayed with their teams it would have been another battle just like in 1979 but it was not a given that Minnesota would win again.

Thats right! I saw these two teams play in 1979. It was a battle when these two teams met. NCAA championship game was no different. Luck was with the gophers in the NCAA finals.

Re: MN Golden Gophers @ UND Sioux: Arrogant vs Offensive!

How old are you? I would bet you are not old enough to witness the 1979 National Championship game or the 1980 Gold Medal game. The Gophers were dominate in 1979 and deserved to beat UND in fact Minnesota probably would have repeated if it were not for the Olympics. Don't kid ourselves into believing the 1980 USA team loaded with a mostly University of Minnesota roster of players were not good enough to repeat as champions. The fact of the matter is the Olympic team was loaded with NHL players and many Gopher players went on to the NHL.
And as we all saw with Michigan in 1997 and UND in 1998 returning a team with many of the players from a previous year's national champion all but guarantees a follow up title

And I'm old enough to remember 1979 and 1980.

I believe you, but if it had happened to a sue player, I would have to wonder if it wasn't chopped off in a running lawnmower tossing accident.

wow, I never expected a sue fan to claim a gopher win was only by luck. I suppose every UND win is by skill. I guess it is better to be lucky than skilled, since Minnesota is ahead in the wins-loss column.

Even though I wasn't alive in '79, I think there was a little luck involved in every single win by both teams that season with how good they both were. I think what people are saying is that that game could have gone either way, and it just happened to go to Minnesota that game.

Whatever ExRider19 says must be true, he heard it in the halls of GFRR which have a can attached to a string with another can on the other end in the head coaching office at the Ralph. Also confirmed in the halls at GFRR, the world is flat just look outside.

Good one. Just so you know, the high school days are long gone.
