Re: MN Golden Gopher 2010 Offseason Thread

The ex-Wisconsin Governer is involved in running the Wild, eh? He's destroying them from the inside, just like the ex-UW assist AD is destroying the rodents from the inside. Hey Joel, I think tDon needs a contract extension. :D

Muah-hahahahahahaha!! Our evil plan is coming to fruition!

Re: MN Golden Gopher 2010 Offseason Thread

The Gophers actually have a pretty easy schedule this year. I could see them still winning 20 games if the Freshman step up from the get go.

Mich/Mich St/UMass and the WCHA teams minus tech is not an easy schedule, in fact they have a very competitive schedule.

Re: MN Golden Gopher 2010 Offseason Thread

The season doesn't start for over 2 months. A small fracture will probably heal by then - and if not, who cares? The team will suck anyway. :p

Re: MN Golden Gopher 2010 Offseason Thread

I feel your pain with Leddy leaving...my condolences ;) .

A question for youz guys: IIRC when I was a kid following Badger hockey, MN was loaded with kids from the Range. Looking at your roster in the recent past, there haven't been a lot. How is hockey doing up there? Are the kids more spread out across the nation in D-1 rather than staying home?

...or were the numbers not what I might remember?
The good ones go to UND.Oshie and Nelson come to mind.

Re: MN Golden Gopher 2010 Offseason Thread

Yeah but he graduated from Warroad where his dad is from. That makes him an Iron Ranger in my book.
For those keeping score at home:

TJ Oshie is not from Warroad, and Warroad is nowhere near the iron range.

Yet this clown believes Oshie qualifies as an iron ranger.

SOH: 5 is closer to 7 than Warroad is to the iron range. :p

Re: MN Golden Gopher 2010 Offseason Thread

All Iron Range players suck. Guyer, Spehar, Hauser, Harrington, Langenbrunner, Mayasich, Schneider, Pavelich. The list goes on and on.

He qualifies as a kid smart enough to know where to go to school as does Nelson. Calling me a clown really hurt.:(

Thanks for the backup Dirty.:D
