Only negative on this run is that they lose the tiebreaker to KC and Minnesota, so they’re really down 1.5 and 3 games to make the playoffs. But getting a struggling O’s team, mediocre Tampa, and the White Sox to end the year puts them in great position.

It is wild how removing Baez and the other veterans from the lineup turned everything around. They might not make the playoffs, but it has been fun seeing the kids battle every day.

The young guys provided a spark, but I still can’t get over the pitching improving with essentially a two man rotation (three now with Mize back). It makes no sense this surge has happened with bullpen days four games a week.
 
Guardians beat Twins and clinch a playoff spot. Tigers move to even, but lose the tiebreaker with nine games to go.
 
Ohtani creates the 50/50 club in a very Ohtani way. Now at 51/51 after a 6/6 day at the plate with 3 HR, 2 2B, 10 RBIs and 2 SB. Dodgers are up 20-3 going into the bottom of the 9th in Miami.

Haha, yeah that was the season.

Also, Ohtani is amazing. We know that but dang. Generational talent doesn't seem strong enough praise for what he does.
 
I just learned you can swap out the idiots on the Apple TV broadcast for either team's radio crew. Up arrow, tab to the wave logo, select the appropriate audio feed. Perfection.

Hasn’t this been around for a while? They’ve had the same option on MLS broadcasts for two seasons.

Probably. Any statement beginning "If you aint up on things" could as easily just be addressed to me.

What was new for me was this was available on the TV itself, not on computer or iPacifier.

They are 21 behind the next-worst team in the majors. That has to be a record. They are 45.5 behind the next-worst team in their division.
