Lug: Obviously really like the Cardinal's chances now of getting to the WS. But I liked their chances even more last year at this stage-and then SF just ouscored them 20-1 to sweep three games. I cannot remember 2 series like the current ones with just so little offense(or perhaps such great pitching and defense).

Why do the Cardinals keep on Cardinaling? Seriously, it seems like every season they stumble, struggle, look like they should fold, they pull it out of their *sses and play this amazing in October.


I really hate the Cardinals. :mad:

It's kind of funny we want athletes to have personality, but complain when they do. Puig wasn't pointing at anyone on the Cards bench. He wasn't barking at them. The only thing I may have a problem with is the standing there and showing up the ump, but that's about it.

That and taking his sweet time getting to the ball after he "lost" it in RF in the 9th. Apparently they've had issues with his effort earlier this season, too.

I'm really enjoying this not having to listen to Buck and McCarver thing Fox seems to be trying for the last 3 innings....

So since there will be a Game 6, what time will it be? I've seen 4:30 in a couple of places but that was because the LA-STL game is at 8. But that series could end Friday. If that happens, will this game be at 8pm? I'm going to the BU game with family but my dad has tickets and my brother wants to go but he's supposed to come with me to the game. Such problems I have.

I'm assuming 4:30. They wouldn't know for sure whether the NL series is over until late Friday night, and that's not enough lead time to change the start time of a Saturday game. Also, since it's Saturday, they're not losing as much audience by not having the game in prime time.

No, not working tonight. Look, I've posted this but I have a birthday next week and I'm planning a few things this weekend. One of which happens to be the BU game. One brother is coming in from LA, the other brother is coming with my nieces. My godson is actually coming. Lots of moving parts and schedules and now this game is throwing a bit of a wrench into my plans. I was going to try and sell them (and Sunday if that happens) but my older brother wants to go. I thought it would be fine as I saw the game was at 4:30 but if the Cardinals win and don't play on Saturday I was wondering if they would move the Sox game on less than a day's notice. Some people have plans!!
