So is Dustin Pedroia this year's David Eckstein? McCarver was talking about him like his GRIT level was off the charts.

So while it appears that this great, fun season has pretty much come to an end for me, I will be in Michigan for Game 2 of the World Series so I think I'm going to try and scalp a ticket to that game.

It can be fun (if not more fun) if you don't have an emotional interest in the game, I have found.

Wow. Usually, when things look bleak, I turn off the light, close my eyes, but leave the TV on. Last night, things looked so bad I turned off the TV.

Mathematically, the odds with :10 left and in the bottom of the 8th (respectively) of both the Patriots and Red Sox winning was .16%

I went to bed thinking that they were doomed. I wake up to find out I missed the greatest comeback since 2004 ... when I also went to bed before the game was over. I see a trend here...
