A-Rod suspended through 2014 season, will be allowed to play until his appeal comes up.

Like I posted on Tweeter. Hopefully Chicago gives him their best version of themselves. I'm rooting for used needles being thrown at him. ;)

I wish people would stop say ARod is suspended. He's playing. So until he is not playing, he isn't suspended. And I get the he can play while he appeals. He can play. So he's not suspended. Will his 211 games go into 2015 since he'll probably be playing for a while this season?

Ya, once the appeal happens (November or December at the earliest, supposedly), if he loses the appeal, the suspension would begin then, whether it is 211 games, 50 games or 500 games.

If the Red Sox insist on pitching Mr. Wright again, make sure the catcher has a mitt the size of a trampoline.
