Re: MLB 2010: The Second Half

Octavio Dotel is having some problems right now.

3 WP's in one inning, and the LAD are now down 3-2 in the 10th and guys on 2nd and 3rd because of it. Not one hit this inning. Yeah.

Re: MLB 2010: The Second Half

And the Dodgers * it up. On a bloop single, here's a hint: don't think the guy will score from first.

Re: MLB 2010: The Second Half

To say Russell Branyan took Javy Vasquez deep to right field in the 1st inning would be a bit of an understatement - 2nd row....of the 3rd deck.

Re: MLB 2010: The Second Half

Lou Piniella retiring after today's game. Most likely due to his mother's health.

I'd add for his own health as well.

Talk about years of high stress no rewards and a disaster of a front office.

I'm happy for Lou. Here's to many years of stress free, happy life.

THanks for everything Lou. Now it's your turn for happiness.

I'm dedicating this song and video to Lou Pinella. Keep on running, big guy.

Funny thing is, it's only like the 131st longest all year according to hittracker...

It's because that right field porch is so short at Yankee Stadium. It makes every ball hit the way very deceiving as far as distance because the decks stack up so quickly.

I think they account for that. I believe they predict where it would have landed if it continued. Maybe I'm wrong.

Edit: I had it right. The distance on hit tracker is the distance it would have traveled if it hit at the same level as the batter without any obstructions.

Anyone been watching the LLWS? Tell me how that replay review system wouldn't work in MLB? Average review has taken 45 seconds.
