Minnesota Women's Hockey Off-Season 2015: #BASK

Re: Minnesota Women's Hockey Off-Season 2015: #BASK

I'm not even sure how the links you've posted are intended to refute anything Brooky said.

yet another lacking in reading comprehension ;)
It should be apparent from the numbers in the USA Today article that Teague has done precisely what he was hired to do.

Souhan says it best in today’s paper in the first few paragraphs, though the rest of his article is bird cage liner http://www.startribune.com/souhan-profitable-sports-drive-universities-including-minnesota/307084751/
Maturi, like Bruiniks, was a nice guy who knows how to shake hands, slap people on the back, and wear a suit, but they both were poor administrators and ultimately at doing their job.

Women’s hockey coach Brad Frost was among the women’s coaches on campus who expressed satisfaction with the athletic department’s gender-equity culture last week. “Quite frankly, I feel real good about where we’re at; one, as a department, but certainly even more so as a hockey program. We have the best-supported hockey program in the country and our players receive everything they could ever want or need to help them be successful.”

"The spending gap between men’s and women’s hockey more than doubled."

perhaps if spending on the women's program had kept pace with the men, their gold jerseys would be made of real gold to be able to spend all the money

a home game by the men brings in about $250,000
by the women, about $15,000
all those track & cross country runners should genuflect every time they run by Mariucci Arena

Which doesn't refute a single thing anyone has said. Brooky never said that Teague isn't doing exactly what he was hired to do; he said that he doesn't approve of what Teague is doing. That's not at all the same thing.

Given your repeated inability to misunderstand simple English sentences in order to be disagreeable I find this statement coming from you ironically hilarious . . . in a sad way.

Wouldn't this be the same as saying "ability to understand"? (sorry, just "poking" fun). ;)

You guys do realize that you're arguing with a figment of our collective imagination, right?

Not one person I spoke to at Ridder has ever seen pokechecker I.R.L.

And, to the best of my knowledge, no one has ever seen "Man Behind the Curtain"!
(I've looked numerous times ;) )

That was an intentional joke to get a rise out of poke. But it occurred to me that all I can think of from his comments are a series of taking things out of context or twisting of words in order to start an argument. Just trolling for an argument gets irksome.

IOW, Brooky et al. doesn't approve of Teague doing his job

the story behind those young girls that appeared on the ice for the into's at the championship game

I think they were more pumped up than the players

pokey doesn't cotton to opinions. Except his own of course.

note to Brooky

cotton is a term coming from England over a century ago, it has nothing to do with one's political views in America

again, educate yourself so you don't sound stupid

pokey...you don't impress me as a particularly intelligent person. Just a very angry, insecure loser.

It was never a mystery.

Have you been under the impression your opinions were of concern...or any value to me?

no, I didn't think it was, but obviously they are, otherwise you wouldn't be conversing with me

maybe you should be doing this by user notification, so others don't see

Yes, you did...with your self importance. A man with stones would admit it. I don't discriminate pokey, and often converse with jerks.

Sure pokey...like you do with those childish insults...the byproduct of that insecurity.

BTW, your inherent misogyny is grossly misplaced. Typical perceptive capacities of your ilk.
