Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

So everything he stood for that Packers fans loved to the bone went out the window the second he donned purple? Wow, imagine if he rode the bench for 16 years.

Last thought on this and remember, I didn't bring up football or Packers fans.

Like another poster said, most will cheer him when comes back for his number being retired. unless of course 4 is given to the punter from now until forever, which is what I'd advocate for.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

Still boggles my mind why they didn't get him Randy Moss. I mean, come one. Favre's arm and Moss? Brady with him was sick, but Favre's got a stronger arm. Just saying...........:D

I think I'd probably be upset too, but it's sports so how upset can you really be?

Yes, we should have gotten Moss. And I'm really not as upset as I thought I would be or think that I should be. It makes me feel a little hollow inside.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

No one said anything of the sort.

Mr. Northstar did, so that's someone, unless that someone is a no one, then no one said something, but since they are a no one, can they say anything? So if no one said something, then did anyone hear something?

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

I'm sure he actually meant it too.

I said I wanted Brett to die on the field on Sunday. Guess what? I didn't really mean it. Just wanted the Pack to beat him.

You probably said it with more style.

I think that my exact words were, "I hope he fukin dies on the field on Sunday." I'm all about style! :D

I assume you're talking about me...you know, the Sioux fan...:p

All I said was based on what I've seen the Gophers appear to have found offense, and they have gotten great goaltending all year. I also called a split, thereby giving the Badgers credit for how well they've played.

Longtime Season Ticket Holder for the Cardinal and White here. I have been reading these blogs for a good number of years without ever joining in until now........

Based on what I have read in this thread, I am a little concerned as to what I am getting myself into....;)

Anytime the Goofers come to town, it is a big deal - anything more than a split would be great. I saw both of their games against UAA and it appeared their offense is (unfortunetely) back on track. UAA can be a great elixir for those types of ailments. I listened to Mankato radio on Sat eve of that series, it sounded like we were OK save for the stupid boarding plays.

Haven't made it down for a game yet this year - Sat Night will be the KC debut for this season.....how is the team intro music and video this year?

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

It sounds like Craig Smith will be back in the lineup. It's too bad he didn't take his cheap shot against Minny instead of wasting it on Mankato. He could have at least ended Jordan Schroeder's career.

Nice bonehead. You're about as useless as a Slinky, until you push it down a set of stairs.:D

"You're like a slinky...not useful until you get pushed down a flight of stairs."

I believe that's what you were trying to say, Tyler. :D

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin.. the greatest rivalry in college hockey.

Psst, for the umpteenth time, Bill Murray loses to the Gopher.

Too bad they didn't tie that in and put a rodent head on that bike in Rushmor.....or have him kill the rat er groundhog in that other movie:D
