No it isn't, and it will outlast all of us.

Those families should be deported.

They're decked out in red - and dancing! Everything is wrong with it. All that dancing and not one person thought to show up in a deer costume.

haha.. too funny!

Hey Wisconsin fans! Come into the Gophers/Huskies thread and pester the Minny fans! It'll be FANTASTIC.

Thanks for the invite, but if I had to spend another week "debating" with these tools, I do believe I'd douse myself in paint thinner and look for a spark.

Good luck Jan. The rest of the free world is pulling for you.

Do you promise? If so, I'm sure JDUBBS and I will be glad to hang out in the next 'Sconny thread to pester you. :p

The Dubber is in our threads all the time already. He's desperate for us to accept him.

Nope, you won't see me in that thread unless something crazy happens that draws everyone in. Marvin comes to mind as an example.

I just want to hear more Packers talk, that's why I come to a hockey board and seek you out

Aww come on Gurth you know you want to, paint thinner and dead deer talk could easily be mixed in with the Jan Brady talk.

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: Secondary Rivalry, Just As Much Hatred

This may have been covered, but I'm not going to read all the way back through 930 posts of dead deer and paint thinner jokes. I never thought I would say this, but listening to LaPanta on Friday made me miss Frank. I didn't even notice him last year, but I thought he was AWFUL on Friday.

Agreed, and listening to Andrenga on Saturday made me miss LaPanta!

Re: Minnesota @ Wisconsin: Secondary Rivalry, Just As Much Hatred

Yeah, they're both pretty brutal.

That's why I went no sound on Friday and Wally and Frank on Saturday. I can't stand Andringa and La pants off is a lost cause. Maybe they could let Marney take a stab at it.

LOL! Even the Badgers official highlights and post-game reactions start off with the axe. Nice of them to allow some hockey talk in the hockey highlights.

Couple of random thoughts.

I don't mind the axe too much especially because of how it seemed to turn the tide in our favor. The problem I had is they stopped the game to bring it out. Someone mentioned bringing other teams to football games to honor them, but I seriously doubt they did that after a second down play. It was probably at half time. So do it between periods and no problems here. Maybe the issue was they couldn't get back in time, but that should be your tough luck.

BTN coverage is getting better. Not thrilled about the WI bias which was obvious, but at least they tried and didn't break away from the game.

This maybe have been covered but why sieve chant when the goalie makes a save? Makes zero sense and to me speaks to the whole knowledgeable fan base issue. I don't mind the dances but the part that got me when I was at the KC a while back is the stands seemed to empty right as the period started. So everyone was there for the dance but all ran to get their popcorn instead of watching the game? Didn't make sense to me because the dance was more important than the game.

Looks like the poll talk has been quiet for a bit. All last week it was about how polls didn't matter then after Friday I heard lots of talk about how bucky beat the #1 team. Why was that so important if polls don't matter? Anyways, doesn't seem like that was an issue for too long.

Agree with every point you made.

My favorite was when he called Rob Andringa "Mark Zengerle". "I'm here with Kevin Gorg and Mark Zengerle..." He must have been thinking about Zengerle, and then accidentally said it. I remember Paul Braun always had trouble with Jason Francisco's name. Jason San Francisco. He couldn't NOT say it. :)

I'm not a huge Andringa fan either, but at least he just does color and he tries to be fair, and he's less annoying than Sags. LaPanta was jabbering about god-knows-what during odd man rushes and didn't even call the first 2 Wisconsin goals.

I still miss the Wooger.
