Minnesota @ Wisconsin: Secondary Rivalry, Just As Much Hatred

With season expectations, and the youth on that squad, I wouldn't be upset either.

Yeah, and against such a strong team, I'll take it. 3-1 against primary rivals so fat, which is fine by me.

Again, it comes down to pick possession to me. We've got some Highly skilled kids this year, but their skill has not allowed them to be able to keep strong possessions in the attacking zone against teams that are willing to be physical with them. On the other hand, when they're on their game, you get great stuff like the goal we got in the first.

Um, given the MN vs WI weekend, and the fact that the team flew to Mpls, I understand WHY they did it, but still think it's stupid.

Hmm, seems like kind of a waste of money to fly the hockey team to MPLS when the games are in Madison.
Still doesn't explain what that cardboard axe is all about.

Have you seen your student section lately? Worst in the WCHA. Like I said in the game thread they are more worried about texting their buddy during the game about the upcoming Hollister 30% off sale.

At least our student section knows better than to chant "Gopher rejects" when you're losing. Classic stuff.

I'm sure it's hard for Gopher fan to fathom a situation where they have more than just the hockey team to follow. Luckily, we can multi-task here.

Can't wait for Monday night!

BTW, the Wild are losing.

Rau's been in a bit of a goal scoring rut the past few games but that hit he put on Barnes was something special. Kind of set the tone early on.

Yeah I hear the deer are in full rut then... good luck Gurth.

That's when you have to be extra careful as the Bucks don't take to kindly to interlopers in their territory.

Chippy so angry..

Did a Minnesotan steal your lunch money? How do you get thru the day with so many Minnesota kids on your Badger roster?
