Chippy chippy chippy... Such anger from you.. How do you sleep at night with so many Minnesotans on your Badger roster? Such hate and hostility seaps from all your posts..

I'd say it was a good split, and I was worried the Badgers would take it to the Gophs again tonight.

Wow the Sconi trap makes the game soo boring...almost unwatchable. I'm glad I don't have to watch that every weekend.

A Few thoughts:

1. Lucia didn't have the boys ready to go Friday night and lost to a terrible Sconi team. Not cool. That is the reason Maturi should have canned him...have your team ready!

2. Sconi has Zengerle, Schultz, and Barnes....after that the rest of their team is like MSU.

3. Bjugstad might be the best player in the WCHA.

Gophs are much improved, but not the #1 team in the country...I would probably put them around 7. Nice win tonight though.

Maturi shouldn't have been around to fire Lucia. And would you really wnt that joke of an AD to hire the next Gopher Bench Boss?.. Nah, I think i'm set with that idea...

The axe being brought seemed to rile up the Gophers. Wisconsin got very DERPDERPDERP in the third.

Emotional series...Badgers had nothing left in the third, especially after losing Mersch. Good series, I'm sure Wisconsin isn't upset with that split.

With season expectations, and the youth on that squad, I wouldn't be upset either.

Yeah he looked pretty solid all weekend, I have no clue about the other guy but I would ride him if I was Bucky.

I don't get what that was all about. Do they bring that out at every home series? Is there some sort of meaning behind that plastic axe? Were those the Badger's healthy scratches who were carrying it?

The downfall was the first puck drop. We were never engaged in that game.

That's what we've seen from this team all season. When they show up, they can hang with anybody. That's not to say they'll beat anybody, but they can hang.

When they don't show, like last Friday at Jan's, well...

Um, given the MN vs WI weekend, and the fact that the team flew to Mpls, I understand WHY they did it, but still think it's stupid.

Good job by the Badgers. Thought they were going steal one tonight and if Patterson hadn't come up HUGE on at least two occasions they likely would have.

Have you seen your student section lately? Worst in the WCHA. Like I said in the game thread they are more worried about texting their buddy during the game about the upcoming Hollister 30% off sale.
