Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

June swoon goes to 10-17 after their 11-7 loss to the Reds. Hard to believe they are still 4 games over .500.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Lose yet another series. Good news is they called up Sano and sent Vargas to AA.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Plouffe had a helluva night, too. HR short of the cycle.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Our crappy 1-2 punch of Boyer/Thompson blows it again! Throw Fien out there and it's a guaranteed loss.

Should of never pulled Santana. He was at 93 pitches. Actually 89 since 4 of those were for an intentional walk. He was dialed in the entire game. Bad move by Mollie.

Glen Perkins your Twins All-Star.

Brian Dozier is in the final fan vote.

No chance he wins. Too many big names from big cities...and the Royals will just stuff the ballot box for Moose anyway. He should have made it outright over that kid from Boston...the utility infielder.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Dozier not making the team is just mind boggling. Kipnis should be the starter but Dozier has been the top 2B in the majors over the last couple of years. He's been an absolute gem since we moved him from SS.

Previous years performance as an argument for this years all-star game always annoys me. It can be a career achievement in his last season , like A.J.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

I know, but even then, I think this year's performance makes it astonishing that he isn't in. This fan vote thing has to go. It's horrid.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

What a comeback by the Twins and leave it to Dozier to get the final home run to end it. Wow!!!!!

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Twins the first team to come back from a 5 run deficit or more in the 9th in over 2 seasons. Teams that had led by that were 1057-0 during that period.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

The extension the Twins gave Dozier is looking better every day. He keeps up these numbers for a couple years and I can about imagine what he would be demanding.
