Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

All the Twins do is win. 3 of 4 from the Kitties to go to 49-40 and second best record in AL going into the all star break. The last 4 years they have averaged 32 wins at home. Today was their 31st already.

Royals were up 6-0 on TOR. It's now 10-10.

Eta. Oh and 7 combined errors in the game.

I hope Hicks can keep this hitting up. He is so good defensively. With him and Rosario and possibly Buxton in the outfield, they have the potential of being the best defensively in baseball.

What a comeback by the Twins and leave it to Dozier to get the final home run to end it. Wow!!!!!

Dozier is the first player in Minnesota Twins history to hit two walkoff home runs in the same week.

Well, I suppose that's what happens when you can't score despite having a bunch of runners.

Oh well.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

The Twins are desperate for bullpen help. I swear if I see Casey Fien out there in a close game again I'm gonna scream.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

Twins have been outscored 29-5 in their 4 game losing streak. Can't hit, can't field, and can't pitch. Ervin Santana needs to nip this thing in the bud today before the boys get home to play the Evil Empire.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2014: The Quest for .500

And Santana does what a number 1 starter needs to do when asked to. Stop a slump and he did just that with 8 shutout 4 hit innings. Huge win with the Evil Empire at Target Field next for 3.
