Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

I've picked up 2 games so far. Section 104 for both.

vs Texas at the end of May.
vs Tampa Bay on 4th of July weekend.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Anyone have any extra opening day tickets they can't use? Probably going down a dead end here but let me know.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Moon Shot Scott gives up 8 and the "A" team loses to the Rays, while Brian Duensing shuts down the Yankees starters and the "B" team wins.

Buy tickets for the second game and hope for lots of rain on Monday and Tuesday.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

I'm watching the ex game from Target Field on MLB net right now. Great park. What's truly awesome is seeing that real grass instead of that horrible artificial turf. Great stuff. :)

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Denard Span first pro HR at Target Field (spring training, but still).

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Impressed that Pavano has gone 7 innings on 81 pitches. 2 bad pitches all night, and both went for HR. Otherwise, nice work.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Nice standing O for Jacque Jones. Who then in Jones fashion strikes out swinging (although on full count pitch). :D

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Twins lose 8-4 to the Cards, but most of that is on Pat Neshek. Minus that one inning the game was 4-3 Twins. :)

Span (min) - 3B, HR
Mauer (min) - 2B, RBI
Pavano (min) - 7 IP, 3 ER
Holiday (stl) - 2-run HR
Ryan (stl) - HR

Watching White Sox/Braves before the Twins game starts.

Kinda hoping the field swallows up both teams, but seems unlikely.
