Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

FYI, I just checked, there are still some more available at the Twins website for that Wednesday game against the Red Sox, if anyone wants to go snag some tickets...I know that several were in the lottery and didn't get selected, so here's your chance.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

It hasn't snowed this month at all!

It will probably snow this day, because I just bought a pair for the April 14th game as well.

That's how my luck works. This will be my first ever outdoor MLB game.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Tix still available. I am thinking about getting a couple.

FYI from the Twins website.

"In the Main Level sections 107-126, rows 24 and above will only have a partial view of the main video board due to the fact they are beneath the club level overhang. Two 42" flat-screen televisions mounted above each of these sections will show the same images that appear on the main video board."

I think I'd heard that before. I wonder how easy it will be to see the flat screen TV's if everything is easily read on them, it shouldn't be a problem not being able to see the entire scoreboard.

But I'm in row 12, so it won't be a problem for me. :)

I managed to snag section 123 row 7 for all 3 brewers games directly from the Twins today :)

Even better! So when it does snow on the 14th, I'll be sheltered. Nice.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

If the forecast says rain or snow 3-4 days before the game on the 14th, my tickets are goind straight to craigslist.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Don't forget if it rains while being about 40 degrees outside ;)

True. This way my popcorn doesn't get all soggy.

There is a whole host of issues with outdoor baseball I just haven't had to think about in my lifetime. This is complicated.
