Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Too bad the Twins suck with RISP so I can't enjoy all these awesome wins ;)

"You're all garbage! All of ya! Back up the truck! Back it up!"

:D

You certainly are the king of putting words in people's mouths. Doesn't really matter though. You'll be in here whining when the team we are playing doesn't hand us the runs and a starter not named Liriano is at the plate.

:)

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Most likely not...there is no one in the division that I think will be within 5 games come September. If I wanted to whine this team has given me plenty of things to whine about but I choose not to because it is still friggin April ;) :)

Now come the playoffs...

A little under halfway to breaking the greatest record in baseball.

Most fans to whine about a team that is winning 2 out of every 3 games? ;) :p :D

I keed I keed how often am I the rational one on these boards? :p

We're talking about Minnesota fans here...we broke that with the first series win...:p

As has been pointed out, 2 of 3 gives us 108 wins and a WS ring...I'll take it any day. :)

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Thome hits a 2 run HR in the 1st, Luke Hughes hits his first HR in his first AB.

Pete Rose's record?

Joe Dimaggio's?

Hank Aaron's?

Cal Ripken's?

I have no idea which record you're tlaking about or who's halfway to breaking it :)

Love the start, but cripes the Twins already have 8 LOB. Their OBP must be off the charts to still score as many runs as they do.

btw - 10 H and 0 BB so far, so perhaps swinging can be a good thing once in awhile... ;)

Don't mention that Slap Shot, lest you be ridiculed for thinking the team sucks and has no chance.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Oh Scott Baker....

Gardy going to the bullpen already. Thank goodness Frankie went 8 last night.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Baker and Blackburn are broken. It is early; hopefully, they can get themselves fixed.

Alex Burnett comes in and does a nice job, though.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010: The Return of Outdoor Baseball

Damon was definitley out there. Edwin Jackson agreed.

That was a catch. Gardy tossed.

I guess only KC gets that call. Happened twice in the last series and both times it was ruled out at second and that it was dropped in the exchange. Both times it was close. Last year at the Dome, also KC, the same thing happened at second where he clearly dropped it without catching it and KC got the call. :o

This. That was a poor call, no two ways about it. And then they went and made another bad call by running Gardenhire. If you're gonna * his team in the *, at least let him get a good rant off.

I hope Span gets a kiss from the umpiring crew, because his butthole is going to be hurting in the morning.
