Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

Who said it...if it was PA it is probably BS unless LaVelle E Neal III was on the show with him. PA knows dick about baseball.
No, it was one of the doofuses on the morning show, though, it might have been when Rosen was on, which gives it a little more credability.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

Surprisingly, the replay shows that was actually the right call. :)

Commie, I already posted that. :p

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

You said "tonight" (this is pavano's turn obviously), and you said KFAN which some question the validity of - so I put the strib article out there for confirmation of said change. :p

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

The orioles may not have quite figured out that whole winning baseball games thing, but they definitely have getting ejected down pat.

Ok, tonight was a mistake, but I did say he was replacing blackburn in the rotation. :p

In other news, delmonsy should definitely be batting third. **** is he on fire!

Mauer intentionally walked to fill the bases - come on, he might bunt! :p

Haha, the Baltimore security staff is MNS'ing.
Edit: Pavano throws a complete game shutout; not often you see back to back CG's in this day and age.

Another complete game for Cy Pavario! This one a shutout. He was masterful.

Attention to all the other twins pitchers: see what Liriano and Pavario did these last two starts, repeat it.

Re: Minnesota Twins 2010 Season Part III, {sigh}

I still cannot believe Pavano is the same guy who was with the Yankees. He has gone from joke to ace. Unbelievable.

He's healthy. I think that's about the only difference. And IIRC, it was all just weird coincidental injuries with the Yanks, it wasn't like a bum shoulder going out, or whatever.

I think he was also lazy there.

Plus I give credit to Rick Anderson and the Twins pitching staff. As for the other pitchers we have right now...that is a different story.

There's the rub. If they are so great (not saying one way or the other), how can our other pitchers suck so much right now?

I give credit to the Indians pitching staff from about 8 years ago. Our crew has yielded such losers as Baker, Slowey, and Blackburn.
