They know...I posted on the thread at the time while I was in line with your dad :D (plus it was my facebook status all weekend)

I may have played football against Joe Mauer in HS...whether he was on the team or not, we still would have gotten destroyed. :D

I'm stealing this idea from a poster at TwinkieTown [what_would_gil_thorp_do] (who stole it from FAILBLOG, of course) because I can't find a better way to sum up the last 3 nights of baseball.

As proof that the Twins have no chance of competing against the rest of the playoff teams, should they be swept by the Rangers: Texas is going for its first 4-game home sweep against the Twins since.... 1987. :)

And with Cliff Lee going tonight against Francisco Liriano, I think they have a good shot at it...

Baker has pitched well the last several starts, so that worries me as we go to play a Seattle team that we should sweep. :o

The Twins acquired Brian Fuentes from the Angels for a minor league player to be named later. Looks like he'll be used as a late inning setup lefty.
