Difference is, we're acknowledging the officiating was bad BOTH WAYS.

"Lots of calls and makeup calls that completely ruined the flow of the game" versus "the refs screwed us".

Typical Gopher fan! Don't you dare be unbias like that, you come off as a know it all, sheeesh when will you Gopher fans get it right?

I didn't get to see the game tonight (waiting for the replay) - were the Gophers ANY better than last night?

Im sure you've seen the replay by now. Imo they played like crap for most of the series but came away with 4 points. I'll take em, but I hope they figure things out quickly.

I know it's tough to understand but I just find it funny that some Gopher fans rip on other teams' fans for complaining about the refs but then rationalize why it's OK for Gopher fans to complain about the refs. Make all the excuses you want, it's still amusing.

*** are you babbeling on about? the game was poorly officiated, no? Disagree? There were crap ticky tack calls thru the entire series. A Gopher fan points that out and clowns paint an entire fanbase with the same brush because he/she calls it like they see it?

Whats funny is half the Minnesota, WI and ND fanbases posting on this board are either related to, work with or neighbors of Gopher fans, and they think themselves as such better hockey fans than a Gopher fan, just because of the team they root for? Really?... Get over yourself, QUICK! Your ignorance, age, testosterone or just plain stupidity is a bit over the top.

Well I am a better fan than you. I don't know about say Slap Shot, but I am a better fan than you. I mean you can't even understand this after it's been explained about three or four times, this alone makes me a better fan than you. I shall try one more time to explain it to you. A select few Gopher fans rip on opposing fanbases for complaining about the officials, but they do the same thing when the officiating is poor in Gopher games.

Well your enlightening posts slamming the fanbase for saying the game was poorly officiated makes it clear that fanbase you lump yourself in is much more put together than the Gophs fanbase.. Most certainly. Thats logical.. Heck if a Goph fan calls a game "poorly officiated" wether it be or not the fanbase as a whole becomes lacking to any of which you belong to..

I read thru this entire pointless debate, and I read many saying it was poorly officiated (it was) and many fans of other teams jumping all over it like a b1ch in heat with claims that the Gopher fanbase is whining (whining about what, a poorly called game BOTH WAYS), and hell even that hack wannabe fs23 carried it over to the UM/MTU thread out of his unbias childish spite..

But you go ahead kid, drink up that testosterone or whatever it is your slurping on and keep believing..

No, you're not a better fan than he is. I don't even need to know you to say that because I have known him a looooong time and there aren't many fans I've met who are more loyal and knowledgable. Not to mention, he was probably going to games while you were still suckling.

This is the difference right there. They didn't lose a game so what's the problem pointing out bad officiating? No one is saying the refs cost us a game, so whatever.

Weird how this thread is being taken over by sue fans (I can say sue just not that other spelling of it). Not exactly doing wonders for proving you're not obsessed with our program are you? Where are tUMD fans? They need to get in on this too.

Seriously, I would have been ashamed to be a Gopher fan in the crowd begging for calls that were just as bad as the calls they complained about last night. There was a TON of Gopher whining during and after the game.
