Kangas has been the lone bright spot for the Gophers. This game could very easily be 6-0 or 7-0.

Start Patterson tomorrow. There's no sense in wasting Kangas in a series that's already lost.
Note to Lucia: if your players aren't willing to skate for you against an arch rival, perhaps it's time to consider stepping aside. This is the third year in a row of mediocre to bad play if this continues. That is simply unacceptable for a program such as Minnesota with all its recruiting advantages.
And there's 4-0.

If the University of Minnesota paid their players better, their play might reflect that.
In my opinion, these 2 teams are very even talent wise. The reason why UND is better is because they play hockey like it's exciting and fun. The Gophers play like it's a tiresome job.
