I'm not completely sold on UND being really good quite yet. I agree with FS23 here:
I didn't expect UND to completely outplay them like that.
I think tonight's game was more of the fact that UMN played a horrible game rather than UND playing a great one.

He should be rewarded for playing his a-- off tonight. He teammates let him down, and they all owe him a steak dinner for keeping the score 4-0 instead of 9-0. Kangas in goal will give them a chance to win. Unfortunately, Lucia can't get this team to play with any emotion. How the f--- can you go up against the Sue and skate aroung like you don't give a s---? Kangas played like he wanted it, and the rest of the team failed. Epic fail!

Expect another dominating performance tomorrow night.
MN is mediocre at best, and UND will contend for another league title.
Hopefully Lucia will resign / retire after this season "due to health issues". He clearly doesn't have it anymore, and his players simply don't do **** for him in key games. This is the first time MN has been shutout by UND in 10 years, and second time in 20 years.
Unacceptable performance.
Scooby, my guess is cg is thinking that since MN was os terrible tonight, it's hard to equal that level of crappy play again.
And 57% voted Kangas as the Gopher player of the game. Only 57%?! 43% of the gopher fanbase is seriously retarded, drunk, high, or all three. To the 43% of you that didn't think Kangas was the best player for MN: please kill yourselves and do not breed under any circumstances. Thanks.
Only if you don't pay attention to the Gophers is this game surprising. They have mostly the same players that they had last season, which means they have the same heartless and spineless schlubs as last season. Same personnel = same outcome.

I disagree. It was a far better game by the Sioux than expected, but if this is the way a very young team can play, watch out!

I know they've played like scared little sally's for a lot of years now, but at what point does a little pride enter the equation? Hopefully tomorrow. That's the only evidence I can come up with. I know, sketchy at best.

Even if you're weak minded and soft like the entire Gopher roster, wouldn't the play of your goaltender fire you up a little? Wouldn't seeing him saving your a-- time after time get you jacked up to pay him back? I stil can't believe how awful that piece of s--- game was.
