How long before the "fire Lucia" rumors start up?

Patterson in, Kangas out. Not because of his play that's for sure.
They are probably just experimenting to see if the guys play better in front of Patterson. They probably can't play worse.
I've got no problem with it. Kangas played well but why not?

This statement bothers me.
Senior captain Tony Lucia said the bitterness of losing in Grand Forks earlier this year resurfaced.
"We had a lot of guys talking about being tough coming into the game, so that was disappointing," he said. "It was the first game of the season, but we've got a lot of learning to do."
It's funny that people complain about a team being "soft" and "marshmallowy" and then turn around and complain when they are in the penalty box.
If you play a more physical game, you're going to be in the penalty box more. Can't have it both ways.
You really expect a WCHA ref to understand "smart" physicality? They see a hard check and assume penalty.JMB, if we're smart physically, we won't be in the box more. We're ahead 1-0 right now, but we're still not being physical in front of our net. TIE THE GUY UP IN FRONT OF THE NET! As a former defenseman, this ****es me off the most. The Sioux players have all the time in the world to tee up and take their best shot against Patterson. Our PP is atrocious. Just horrid. Good God.
