I wouldn't put much value in comparing offensive numbers - I suspect that overall scoring has declined since then (and if we're going to compare offense, we should also look at the other side of it as I'm going to go out on a tiny limb here and say that this season's defensive numbers are superior to '99).The 1998-99 team had a GPG avg. of 3.23, this season 2.67. The only positive is this season's team may surpass the W/L% by a couple games.
