She needs something to keep her entertained backing up Noora. ARM emailed me the photo and I believe Coach Miller may have some people out looking for one for her. That thing is terrible. I wonder what extreme Sletta went to for Muzz to wear that thing.

I concur on all points but one, and that's more ticky-tacky (like some officiating :rolleyes:) than anything else...

Goldy used to be part of the band. He hasn't been, though, for over 20 years. At sporting events, the athletic department is responsible for him. For general university (non-sporting) events, University Relations runs the show.

And I've missed seeing some goals because I've been distracted by his antics. :o

But that's just because there are SO many goals. :) Over the years, I've missed goals because I've been still returning to my seat, stuck in the concessions line, using other facilities, responding to a question, or looking at who knows what. So I'm very, very grateful for the new video scoreboard and the second chance to view goals that it offers.

I'm guessing Sletta stuffed Muzzy doing showdown at practice or something. I can't see Nadine wearing that willingly.

No coersion necessary actually. It was more like, "You find it, I'll wear it."
and I think everyone pretty much wore it during the celebration. No idea where it is now, though :)

There has been talk of some transfer-ins to the Gophers has there been update to roster?

Nothing official beyond the six players signed last November. Usually, the roster doesn't get updated until closer to fall semester. There are rumors, and over the years, some of those actually become reality and some don't.

We were looking forward to seeing (Wisconsin) all year. We always said that we wanted to beat Wisconsin in the national championship game, and that’s what we did. We were just more prepared, (more) ready to play. We weren’t going to lose that game.

“Plus, it was exciting to play (the national championship) in Duluth, (because the University of Minnesota-Duluth) is a big rival of ours, too. Having some of their players in the stands watching us, on their home ice, was pretty exciting for us.”

Also heard the GWH team is set to be honored prior to the Twins game at Target Field tonight...with a GWH player to throw out the first pitch. I suspect our friend gano will be witness.

Wonder who will be more successful, mystery player throwing out the first pitch or Liriano tonight. I'll take the hockey player.
