To follow up, Steph Anderson has officially transferred. She is now listed on Bemidji State's roster. She will be sitting out the 2012-2013 season since this was an in-conference move, but will retain her three remaining seasons of eligibility.

I do wish her the all the best and hope this works out for her.

Thanks. It would have been nice if they'd gotten the score of the championship game correct, though.

I wouldn't even admit exactly how many times I've watched the whole championship game replay. A whole bunch of times though.

I have to add a thumbs down for the one glaring absence from the veteran list...thereby serving as a possible verification of previous rumors.

Jeff missed the fact that there was/is a page 2 to the veteran roster, which does include a tenth Gopher with the initials EW.

Brooky,

What I've been told by a few Gophs is that AK had hip surgery and could be out 2 months to start the season. Knowing how tough and determined the girl is I'm thinking she'll be ready for the start. I sure hope so!

Congrats to both Kelly and Sarah on making the Canada U-22 roster. I see that this year's Minnesota schedule doesn't include a game the first weekend in January. I couldn't find the schedule for the Meco Cup in Germany this year, but hopefully, should either/both Terry/Davis make the roster for that event, it will be wrapped up by the time the hockey team formerly known as the Fighting Sioux comes to Ridder on January 11.

It's approaching Minnesota State Fair time, so I thought I'd put this out for the Twin Cities (and surrounding area) folks...

The Power Play Club (the GWH booster club) will be at the U. of M. Building from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, August 29, and we expect several GWH players to stop by throughout the day to sign autographs and take pictures. The National Championship trophy will also be on-hand.

Then, on Thursday, August 30, the team will be featured on the U. of M. Stage just outside the building from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. Coach Frost and several players (usually upperclassmen) will quickly recap last season, discuss the upcoming season, and answer questions from the audience.
