Arms up, hands to the face, and late. Player also in a susceptible position the whole way, didn't put himself there right before contact or anything. Dangerous hit, I am fine with the five and a game.

Charging, late, to the head....take your pick. Add to it he jumped, easiest call of the night.

Only question is if Rau gets a DQ or just a game misconduct.

Someone started posting personal info/emailing him with threats/something along those lines. Despicable things, IMO. So Swami just left. :( At the Denver F4, I listened to his stories/history for a couple hours, and wanted more. He was that knowledgable.

It was clearly a charge. It looked like he had his hands up high and if he hit him in the head the new rules say it is a 5 minute major. Did he get just the game or a DTQ?

Thats to bad. I met him in Denver quite a few years ago and seemed like a very nice guy. A former SCSU poster on this site had the same thing happen to him. he got crank calls at home and at work and viruses sent to his e-mail. What the hell is wrong with people? I had issues with a Gopher fan about 10 years ago, but not half as bad as it seems these guys had it. When are people going to learn it is jsut a game and a message board?

It wasn't worth a dq...dumb penalty but definitely not a dq. Just saw the replay and Rau spun off him after the hit...wasn't driving him into the boards.
